Media Project - Preliminary Task Proposal

I plan to do a radio interview with Dan Simkiss a member of The Fu-qualies. The Fu-qualies released a cover of Fats Domino’sBlueberry Hill’. Unfortunately for the band it didn’t get noticed in the UK. It got within the top 100 in the US but most unbelievably of all it reached Number 1 in Serbia and Macedonia and within the top 10 in Latvia and the Ukraine. So it appears that they made a name for themselves in Eastern Europe with out even trying.
Dan is primarily the Drummer, but made a special appearance as the Vocalist on this particular track. I think that we should interview him to find out exactly what his feeling are about being rejected in the UK but being idolised in Eastern Europe.
The interview will take place on a breakfast/brunch programme at around 9am on a National Radio Station ‘BBC Radio 2’.
The name of the programme is going to be called ‘Dave’s Diner’, an easy listening show, suitable for a lazy start to a Saturday.

The Fat Man has always been an idol of mine, so I'm really looking forward to hearing this homage. Great name for a Saturday morning late breakfast show - could be a replacement for Jonathan Woss? The important thing to remember is that" less is more". You also need to think carefully about the content of the clip - perhaps with some actuality or audience reaction as well as the music?
